After crossing the border in Canada, our first stop is the Le Cep d’Argent Winery. Here you will experience champagne like nowhere else in Quebec. This popular regional winery has been praised for its refined wines and champagnes. You will enjoy a guided tour followed by tastings of their award winning products.
Later we check into our hotel for three nights, the Manoir des Sables nestled between Mount Orford and Memphremagog Lake. Tonight enjoy excellent cuisine in the hotel’s dining room. Dining suggestions will be provided by your Tour Director. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, indoor sauna, Finnish sauna and Nordic baths, paddle boats, and canoes on their private lake.
After our full American breakfast we set out for Montreal. We meet our local guide for a morning of sightseeing. See the historic Old City, the view of the City from Mt. Royal, University of Montreal, McGill University, the Olympic Stadium, Sainte-Helene's Island with the site of Expo '67,and more. This afternoon enjoy Old Montreal with its many shops and restaurants. Later in the afternoon we head back to our home base in Magog where you may enjoy the hotel’s dining room or options in the local town. (Breakfast included)
Breakfast begins our day before we set out for the picturesque town of Magog situated on the northern end of Lake Memphremagog. We board the Grand Cru Cruise Ship for a delightful 4 hour lunch cruise on the lake providing beautiful views, excellent cuisine and a stop in Georgeville. Here our guide will explain the rich history of this oldest community on the lake.
Returning to Magog we have time to enjoy the shops and restaurants in this beautiful quaint town before heading back to our hotel. (Breakfast & lunch included)
We will stop for lunch at the beautiful LeMoulin de Saint-Laurent housed in an old flour mill dating back to 1720 where a delicious regional lunch will be included amidst a charming country setting. Our guide will provide history and anecdotes along the way of this enchanting countryside. Later this evening, enjoy the evening in Old Quebec. (Breakfast and lunch included)
After our final breakfast we bid farewell and head to the Bleu Lavande Fields, the largest lavender farm in Canada. Mid-July offers the opportunity to experience the fields at their peak.
