Day 1:
Our travels through upstate New York brings us to the picturesque town of Clayton. Our local guide joins us to acquaint us with this beautiful town - a jewel of a peninsula surrounded by the magnificent St. Lawrence River. We check into the luxurious 1000 Islands Harborview Hotel overlooking the stunning St. Lawrence River, offering spacious deluxe rooms, an indoor swimming pool, state of the art fitness center, waterfront dining, lushly landscaped grounds and more. We will enjoy a delicious dinner tonight at the hotel.

Day 2:
Following breakfast we set out for Alexandria Bay to board our international 22 mile round trip 1000 Islands Cruise through American and Canadian waters. You will enjoy a visit to the 129 room Rhineland Boldt Castle on Heart Island. This impressive castle-home was built in the early 1900’s by George Boldt, millionaire proprietor of the world famous Waldorf Astoria. After our cruise, enjoy downtown Alexandria Bay for lunch, time at your beautiful resort and dinner at the hotel or from your choice of nearby restaurants in the quaint village of Clayton.

Day 3:
After breakfast we head to one of Clayton’s premier tourist sites, the Antique Boat Museum-- North America’s premier fresh water boating museum with over 300 beautifully restored boats. Our guide will take us through its history fascinating us with incredible craftsmanship. We will enjoy a 30 minute tour of the 106’ houseboat LaDuchesse, bringing to life 100 years of gracious River lifestyle. See her luxurious interior and original furnishings while hearing the story of this unique summer home of George Boldt. After time for lunch, we resume our travels home.

Trip Cancellation Insurance: $50/person

Trip Cancellation Insurance: **Optional Trip Insurance is available: $50 per person. Insurance must be purchased at time of deposit. This waiver will protect your payments in the event you must cancel due to any health/accident related reason on the part of yourself or an immediate family blood relative. A doctor’s notice must be provided. Cancellation insurance will protect you up until 48 hours prior to departure provided you contact our office if you must cancel your trip. If our office is not contacted by 48 hours prior to departure, the cancellation waiver will not apply.
Without insurance cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee as follows: Cancellations 45 or more days ahead receive a full refund. Cancellations 44—15 days ahead will be charged 50% of total tour cost. Cancellations 14 days or less ahead of departure, no refunds.
Covid Guidelines
All passengers must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 and are required to present proof prior to boarding. Masks are highly recommended upon the coach as per CDC guidelines. If you are experiencing any flu/cold like symptoms or have been exposed to someone with Covid in the 10 days prior to the tour’s departure, please do not attend this tour.
