Our popular Cape May 3 day tour is back! Enjoy the beautiful fall time of the year to take in ocean views, Victorian mansions, great dining, and rich history.
Day 1:
Our seaside adventure begins arriving midafternoon at the oceanfront Grand Hotel of Cape May. Your hotel provides an ideal location for beachfront views and proximity to shops and restaurants. This evening there will be several options available to enjoy dinner on your own in the hotel’s dining room, Hemingway’s or select a nearby restaurant..
Day 2:
After breakfast we head for our tour of the 1879 Emeln Physick Estate, Cape May’s only Victorian mansion museum. Here you will enjoy the beauty of its 18 rooms and gardens authentically restored to their original grandeur.
You will also enjoy a Mansions by the Sea Trolley Tour. This tour features a century of beachfront development from Victorian cottages of the 1870s to the most up to date seaside mansions today. It includes the history of some of Cape May’s most magnificent structures.
There will be time to have lunch and shop at the picturesque Washington Street Mall. In the heart of the historic district, you can enjoy over 90 unique shops and restaurants along cobblestone tree lined streets.
This afternoon we travel beyond Victorian Cape May to Cape May Point, home of the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse. Located in Cape May Point State Park it is also home of the world’s premier birding spots. Your tour guide will explain the rich history of this beautiful area while you take in the sights including one of the oldest continual operating lighthouses in the U.S.
Dinner is included at the waterfront Lobster House Restaurant overlooking the scenic Cape May Harbor and one of Cape May’s most popular restaurants. (Breakfast & dinner included)
Day 3:
After breakfast we board the Cape May Whale Watcher for an exciting cruise around Cape May Point and up the coastline. Our Captain narrates our tour with historic facts about Cape May, the Cape May Lighthouse while enjoying encounters with dolphins in their pristine environment.
